New Mexico Military Institute is a public coeducational military Junior College and College Preparatory High School. Since 1891, NMMI has built a world-class institute of higher learning based on principles of discipline, integrity, honor and the pursuit of excellence.

 

 

The New Mexico Military Institute and Energy Control Inc. (ECI) have had an ongoing relationship since 1986, founded on the Institutes desire to improve facility operations and reduce energy cost. ECI has completed automation projects in 8 major campus facilities and has applied Direct Digital Control to the plant as well. More Specifically ECI has installed a networked Facility Management System (FMS) to monitor and control two dormitories, one with 397 rooms and one with 168 rooms including all associated HVAC equipment. Personal Computers for central and remote monitoring of systems were also installed.
