ECI has entered a strategic alliance with the Galvin Electricity Initiative, founder; former Motorola Chairman Bob Galvin, and is acting as the buildings champion for the initiative. The Mission is to create a power system which is environmentally sound, resilient, and fuel-efficient and that empowers consumers.

ECI President, Jack McGowan, will provide a presentation to the Science, Technology and Telecommunications Interim Legislative Committee at their upcoming Conference on risk and opportunity to the Smart Grid and Power Market (Galvin Electricity Initiative), September 27, 2010.

ECI has been invited to sit on the review committee at the Santa Fe Public School District for selection of a new Energy Coordinator. ECI has played a role in shaping the Districts aspirations for energy conservation into realized projects.
