Echelon device networking technology enables end-users to remotely
connect, monitor, control, sense, and diagnose intelligent devices.
Today, thousands of intelligent devices and appliances are equipped
with LonWorks networks. You can find them in every aspect of the
device networking environment—from HVAC and lighting in buildings,
to collecting energy usage information or data across a grid of
27 million homes—24 hours a day. LonWorks networks simplify
system management, conserve energy, improve operations, and reduce
costs.
An open interoperable revolution is underway in the controls industry
and one organization is taking the lead in delivering open interoperable
products - LONMARK International. Supported by a who's-who of controls
companies, LONMARK International counts among its members not only
the manufacturers fueling this revolution but also the end-users,
equipment specifiers and system integrators driving its implementation.

FieldServer Technologies’ protocol translators and industrial
gateways for Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks®, DH+, Profibus, Metasys,
ControlNet, and a wide range of other protocols that are widely
used to provide the device interoperability required in todays plants
and buildings. In building automation applications, FieldServers
are the gateway of choice interfacing building automation systems,
fire alarm panels, and other HVAC controls, linking proprietary
protocols to such common protocols as Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks®,
Metasys and more. In process industries FieldServers can link serial
devices that use such protocols as Modbus or DF1, or fieldbus devices
that might use DH+ or Profibus to Ethernet backbone.

First in their class, the family of NetBotz Security Appliances
runs on existing IP networks, securing organizations from a wide
range of physical threats that can jeopardize their critical locations,
assets and infrastructure. These small sentries, with their onboard
add-on environmental sensors and color cameras, actively monitor
the physical environment in which assets reside. This early warning
provides you with the information your organization needs to react
quickly to preempt problems.
